Who Am I
I specialize in showing everyday people how to take advantage of the least expensive and most efficient ways to get healthy – eating well, moving well and sleeping well. I am an anatomy geek, health nut, animal lover and have been a Yoga teacher and health coach since 2004. My offerings are influenced by my study and practice of Ayruveda, and a fascination with healthy functional movement and pain-free living. Everything I teach comes from the desire to help my students and clients find a sense of peace and joy in their life. When I’m not with clients or teaching yoga classes, you can find me in a beautiful little nook of Upstate New York with my songwriting husband, three spoiled cats, 8 or so chickens and our beautiful active dog.

My Philosphy
After being in the health and wellness world for nearly 20 years, I have come to the conclusion that everyone needs to know this “health stuff” and apply it to their lives, but the way healthy living practices are shared is overwhelming, too “woo woo”, time consuming and quite exclusive. After applying many practices of eating better, moving better and sleeping better to my own life it is clear to me that big changes happen when we add little habits that are perfect just for us.

My Approach
I consider myself a translator of all the amazing benefits of Yoga, Ayurveda and healthy living. My offerings are designed to be available to everyday people who just want to feel better. My yoga classes are well rounded and designed to suit the needs and levels of the students who attend with special attention to alignment to enhance the students’ practice while encouraging them to explore their own experience. I try to keep my offerings light and fun while still honoring the importance and reverence for the teachings.
